0%At VODAP, our team is united by a shared mission to advocate for the rights, dignity, and empowerment of differently-abled individuals in Afghanistan. We are a diverse group of professionals—including advocates, educators, trainers, mental health experts, and digital specialists—who are deeply committed to creating meaningful change and amplifying the voices of those often marginalized. Our leadership team guides VODAP’s strategic direction, advocating for policy reforms and fostering youth leadership, while our advocacy and legal experts work to raise awareness and push for legal protections for people with disabilities. Our educational facilitators provide virtual training in vocational skills, digital literacy, and personal development for youth with disabilities, and our mental health support team offers vital psychological services to help individuals cope with trauma. Additionally, our gender equality advocates ensure equal leadership opportunities for both young men and women with disabilities, while our digital team maintains an accessible and user-friendly virtual platform. Our community outreach efforts aim to raise awareness about disability rights and foster inclusion in local communities. Despite our diverse roles, we are all aligned in our vision: to empower differently-abled individuals in Afghanistan and work toward a future where every Afghan, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to thrive. We believe in the power of collaboration and inclusion to ensure that the voices of Afghanistan’s differently-abled community are heard, respected, and celebrated.
